A little about me...
2019-2020 is my fifteenth year teaching at PCY as a classroom teacher. Before that, I worked as a special aide for severely impacted physical need students for three years, and as the ELD site Aide for six years at PCY. Before that, I worked as a Corporation/Litigation Paralegal in Downtown LA for 12 years, and before that I lived in Boston and ran a consortium of food co-ops, catering, and importing businesses. Both of my children attended PCY and graduated from LCHS. Jake and Mary are my pride and joy! I am so proud of them and the beautiful people they have grown to be. I moved to Altadena five years after 18 years as a LCF resident. I love go to Farmer's Markets and cook. I am one of 9 children and a twin, whom, coincidentally teaches elementary in Palo Alto (2nd grade). I am proud to call myself a mid-Westerner, hailing from St. Louis, Missouri.
I'm big on manners, telling the truth, and bring respectful. I walk the walk and talk the talk. I absolutely love to hang out with the 8-9 age crowd from 8:00 am ish to 3:00 pm ish on a weekly basis. I am here for you and your children in any way that I can be helpful. I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!
